Implants

As regards the eye prosthesis mobility, implants play an important role when enucleation occurs.

In other words, they replace the volume of the eye. Their shape is spheric and they are elaborated in such a way that makes them biocompatible with the tissues in the eye socket.

The fitting of an implant is carried out by an ophtalmologist by way of surgery.

This guarantees and leads to a fulfillment of the mobility that the prosthesis will have, following the movements of the companion eye.
